Girls on the Run was a good program for my daughter, she enjoyed herself through the program. The elements of the program that I think are the most valuable are: building self-confidence and having good self-esteem I would like to see the following change(s): none, the program was good

No, you do not need a track. Majority of our sites run the perimeter around the field area. As long as the area is safe for the girls and the coaches can see the girls at all times it is good.

First have the girls decide what group/community they would like to help, i.e. retirement home, troops overseas, school, children in a hospital, animal shelter, etc. Then they need to brainstorm on how to help this community, i.e. shelve books in the library at the end of the day, plant flowers, make cards, donate gently used [...]
